It’s hard to believe…

a year ago, this week, I was getting ready to meet my sweet babies for the first time!

I was folding last minute laundry…

So thankful you are here with me now

Thank you God for my healthy babies

Thank you God, for guiding, directing, trusting us, encouraging, crying and laughing with us through this first year as parents!

We love you so much Gage and Graham and can’t WAIT to celebrate your first year with our families!!!!

Confessions…

I realize it is nearing the end of March, so I am putting a stop to it now.  BUT, I have a few confessions to make…

It’s like it’s still Christmas in our house.

The boys are still wearing their Christmas jammies (they still fit and are so cute)

I turn on the boys cd player every nap and night time sleep and Christmas lullaby’s are still playing

AND

Christmas

I accidentally still have my Christmas greeting cards up.  I love looking at them!

Every time I walk by, I have to look at all the happy families and babies!

Just know, if you ever send me a photo card; i.e. Christmas card, birthday invitation, birth announcement… I save them and keep them up for a loooooong time.

(I’ve been known to keep birth announcements up until I get the 1st birthday invitation) :-/

But,

I realize it’s March,

and I have some spring cleaning to do.

So the pictures are coming down,

putting a new cd in the boys’ room,

and locking up the Christmas jammies.

Abilene

Two weeks ago, (tomorrow), Jared had some work to do in Abilene and San Angelo.

I wasn’t about to sit at home with 2 sick babies, both double ear infections, when I knew I had some anxious grandparents that couldn’t wait to see their grandbabies and help me out.

So we loaded up and headed out west for 5 days.

It was one of the best trips home.

Had so much fun with our families and I got some much needed rest and the boys got some much needed grandparent spoiling. :)

First up, Granna and Easy’s house

I did a little of this… it’s been awhile, but I certainly enjoyed it

(Ignore the white cankles, I plan on getting a tan this summer)

Gage was done sitting, imagine that!

Boys getting bored on the trip home so I had to entertain for a bit.

I may have taught Graham to stick his tongue out.

Don’t judge.

It will bite me later.

He was fussy!

Don’t let this sweet laughter fool you.

Two seconds later, he was done being happy! :)

Thanks for a fun weekend home!

Until next time…
