Thanksgiving

Since we got married, I have been dreaming of the day Jared and I had kids and got to share them with our families during the holidays. 

We packed up last Sunday and drove to Abilene to stay 2 nights with Honey and Papa G and 2 nights with Granna and Easy.  In those four days, we packed in a lot of fun and family time!

(Notice the boys in onesies.  When we left Frisco that morning, it was 74 and was supposed to be the same in Abilene, but it wasn’t.  It was 42 when we got to Abilene that afternoon.  The weather man had it so wrong for the first few days we were there.)

(Katie and Rob are Julie and Jerrod’s good friends that recently moved to Temple.  They came by to visit and see the boys since they were in town.

They are so sweet!  They are expecting their first, a little girl, in April.

We had so much fun and had so much to be thankful for this year.  Our two miracles made this Thanksgiving the best yet!

Eunice’s visit

Eunice, Jared’s grandmother, came to visit us the boys a couple of weeks ago.  She lives in New Mexico, so we don’t get to see her very often. 

Linda, Jared’s mom, went to get her and drove her to Frisco to stay with us for a couple of days.  We didn’t do much except drank lots of coffee, which we are good at, and talked, and watched the boys play.  It was a good visit and we always look forward to the boys’ spending time with their great grandparents!

Thank you Granna, for bringing Eunice to visit us.  It means a lot to Jared and I for the boys to spend time with their great grandparents!

“Rubber Duckie, you’re the ONE…

You make bath time lots of fun!”

Oh, we just got a new bathtub for the boys and they LOVE it!  They are too big for the sling they have been using since they were newborns and the bumbos, I thought, were not allowing them to get “clean” enough.  Since Jared is the official “bath giver,” he ventured out to Babies R Us and found this cute little rubber duckie bath tub, for the boys, and to make his job easier. 

It is so much fun to watch them kick and splash in their new tub.
