Jared picked up some Santa diapers about a month ago at Target. I was cleaning out the boys’ closet this morning and found them so we took the opportunity to take some photos since they were all smiles!
Cutest little Santas I know!

I am not even sure how we took this picture of them both on the couch, smiling. Let me assure you, they were there long enough for one snap shot and then they both were headed off the couch!
We, officially, have two crawling babies and WOW is all I can say. How easy would it be if they crawled to the same places at the same time? HA! I can only dream that way. Instead, they go opposite of each other.
They notice each other and have really been babbling and laughing at each other, but they still play independently, for the most part. (Probably because Gage has been crawling longer than Graham and never stays in the same spot). They have both learned that they share a room and when they sit up in bed, they can see each other across the room. That has cut down on some afternoon naps since they discovered they can talk to each other instead of sleep. :) They are taking 3 naps a day, which is nice, but I have a feeling that 4:00 nap (the third one) is about to go.
They are nursing 4 times a day and eating cereal, fruits and vegetables for breakfast and dinner.
They are wearing mostly 9 month clothing and still in size 3 diapers.
This month, by far, has been my favorite month! It is so much fun to see how much they are doing and changing everyday.
Gage
Yes, you are holding a remote because you LOVE them! You always have to have something in your hand, especially when you are crawling or pulling up. Just like your hands, you are always busy! You are done playing in the living room. You want to crawl and explore the whole house. Your dad and I have been putting up gates all over the house, but bad news (for us), you have discovered if you pull on them or climb on them, they fall over and you can escape. We even had to put a gate up around our Christmas tree! You aren’t so interested in the tree as much as the presents underneath.
CAN NOT WAIT until Christmas to see you go to town on the presents! You won’t know you are opening toys, you will be more interested in the paper and boxes.
My favorite thing you are doing this month is saying “da-da” and “ma-ma.” I love hearing this on the monitor when you wake up! Melts my heart!
Your personality is still about the same as in the womb, go go go! You are so busy and you love exploring everything! You are making mama keep the house floors very clean because you are finding everything and anything and putting it all in your mouth. AHH! But as busy as you are, it is very hard to vacuum and keep an eye on you! You still are not into cuddling, except when you wake up from naps or when you are sick. So, I take advantage of those times and hold and rock you! You have also gone into this “if I can’t see my mama, I’m going to scream!” mode. So sweet, but yet so hard for me to be away from you. I think you are for sure a “mama’s boy” and I am A-ok with that! Just stay that way forever, k?
You are loving to stand, without holding on to anything lately. Do I see a walker soon? Ready or not?!
We love you Gage, and we are so thankful for you!
YEP, his shirt says it all… “Lock up your daughters!”
lil stud
Sweet boy, you and your brother will be the proud drivers of this tahoe in 16 years :)
what is it about Zoey’s nasty water bowl do you love?? yuck!
first time you figured out you could crawl through the table, you got stuck and not too happy about it
now, you do it all the time!
something always in your hand!
love you little monkey!
Graham
Graham, full of faces and noises this month! Your quiet, shy personality has become full of loud sounds, giggles, fake coughs, and funny faces, around us. You still get shy around new people and unfamiliar faces and make this pout face, stick your bottom lip out, and then cry. So sad. Anyway, you started crawling this month…YAY! You rocked back and forth on all fours for weeks, then, all of a sudden, you took off. You are a very careful crawler, which means, I have plenty of time to get you before you get into anything. Thank you for that! I wonder how long that will last??
You started saying “Da-da” this month and your daddy loves it! It seems appropriate that you learned his name first since you LOVE him! You are so a “daddy’s boy!” You light up when you hear his voice, even if it’s on the phone, or see him come through the door. It’s the sweetest thing!
We love you Graham and we are so thankful for you!
daddy’s boy!
can’t tame that hair!
this shirt isn’t as believable on you as it is on your brother
“I’m so happy I can crawl now!”
You LOVE jumping in your “jumparoo!”
silly boy, another sweet face!
love you little monkey!
As good as it gets to get you both to sit together, still, and smile.
It’s been the best 8 months with both of you!
We love you, Gage and Graham, so much!
Since we got married, I have been dreaming of the day Jared and I had kids and got to share them with our families during the holidays.
We packed up last Sunday and drove to Abilene to stay 2 nights with Honey and Papa G and 2 nights with Granna and Easy. In those four days, we packed in a lot of fun and family time!
Papa G, Graham, Honey, Gage all in their “Cowboys attire” for the game on Sunday.
(Notice the boys in onesies. When we left Frisco that morning, it was 74 and was supposed to be the same in Abilene, but it wasn’t. It was 42 when we got to Abilene that afternoon. The weather man had it so wrong for the first few days we were there.)

Katie’s turn
(Katie and Rob are Julie and Jerrod’s good friends that recently moved to Temple. They came by to visit and see the boys since they were in town.
They are so sweet! They are expecting their first, a little girl, in April.
My great aunt, Phyllis, needed a picture with the boys in their “My Aunt Rocks” shirt that Aunt B gave them

My best friend, Molly and her little boy Jaxon, came to visit and our boys played together.
(I’ve known Molly since 5th grade)
So much fun and so good to see them!
Jaxon just turned 5 months

Easy playing with the boys

“Coach” was trying to get all the boys to smile and he accidentally startled Graham. Trying to make up with him
Trying to cheer Graham up. Not even the iPhone would make him smile. He was so tired that day
Later, we went to Jared’s grandad’s house to introduce the boys to him and take some pictures

We had so much fun and had so much to be thankful for this year. Our two miracles made this Thanksgiving the best yet!
Happy Thanksgiving!
